“Each season we try to give Oliver a different emotional journey. In season one, it was about moving him from someone who [had] a vendetta to someone who was a vigilante; in season two it was about going from vigilante to hero. We have a brand new character journey for him in season three that doesn’t revolve around the ‘Am I a killer?’ story of season two—that gets a pretty definitive ending in the season finale.”
“The second season finale has more emotion and more moments of significance than the first season finale did. Obviously the death of Tommy [in season one] is hard to top, but if you compare the first 40 minutes of each 42-minute finale, I think you’ll find that season two is more emotional, pound for pound, than the season one finale.”
Is it bad that i don't even remember the season one finale other than tommy dying?
